The Way Of The Thief Of Life By Baba Bishop Nelson Nzvimbo

So in John 10:6-9 Jesus told this simple story to his disciples, but they had no idea what he was talking about. So he tried again. "I'll be explicit, then. I am the Gate for the sheep. All those others are up to no good—sheep stealers, every one of them. But the sheep didn't listen to them. I am the Gate. Anyone who goes through me will be cared for—will freely go in and out, and find pasture.

10. A thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of.

In life, the work of the devil is so simple!!, he says; I will steal, kill and destroy their life's earnings. In other words he is simply saying I will take away their God intended purposes in life, I will frustrate them and my means of doing it is by stealing, killing and destroying their destinies in Christ. Steal their very being, very life. Joy, peace, happiness, health, wealth, family, friends, businesses, education, callings, ministries, steal, kill destroy their very purpose of existence here on earth. Scripture says, the devil and his cohorts are here on a mission and you are the target. His assignment is, Steal from them, kill them, destroy them, and when they are down trodden, they will deny their God and that's my entrance into their lives. That way, they are mine to do my pleasing as they live a terrible, frustrated, depressed, boring life outside of their creator.

But, you see Christ coming to counter the devils intended plan by appearing amongst us and speaks these words: I am come, that you may have life and that you may have it in abundance. Waaal, what a relieving statement!. Life in abundance man!! In this world full of depression?. Well, yes that's what He came to do, from heaven to save us, felt our pain and made it His, carried it to the cross and nailed it there, as if it was not enough, took it to the grave and buried it there, as if it was not enough took those that were made captives before and set them free, took the keys of Hades and death, led the captives free and brought them out of there victorious. Showing us the way to life and life eternal.

In John 15 He said, abide in me and I will abide in you. Scripture continues to encourage us, in Him there is life and life in abundance. It's only in Him Jesus Christ. It's in how much time we spend in Him that gives us the protection from the later, where the thief/devil has come and he is here to steal, kill and destroy. But thank God for Jesus Christ, our good news. He came that we may have life & that, in abundance.
