Permission TO Win

1 Corinthians 9:24 Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore, I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air.

Failure isn't your friend.

In fact, I'd say we've become far too comfortable with failure in general. Case in point, we live in a culture that is far more tolerant of losing than it is congratulatory of winning.

There is no shame at the thought of being victorious and successful in life.

Today I want to give you permission to win..At everything.

Not because of some humanistic desire to show off. Not at all. Simply for the reason that God loves you and wants you to succeed.

You should be confident of winning at marriage, in your family, in your physical health, in your business, at pastoring/leading, in your mental/emotional health, and even in your finances.

Jesus said it so well when He spoke about the gift of the Holy Spirit, "You earthly fathers being evil, do you not know how to give your children good gifts? If they ask for bread, do you give them a stone? If they ask for a fish, do you give them a serpent? Of course not! How much more will your heavenly Father give you the gift of the Holy Spirit if you ask..."

What a good God we serve! What a wonderful Father.

He wants YOU to win in life. And He's there to pick you up even when you don't.
